Bäume für Innenstadt und Park auf Klimawandel anpassen

UPDATE: April 2023 was the 4th-hottest April globally since modern recordkeeping began in 1880, measuring at 1.00°C (1.80°F) above NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s 1951-1980 baseline average. The six hottest Aprils have occurred since 2016.

#FYI The most recent data point on the plot and the temperature at the top of the map are often different because scientists calculate them differently to handle data gaps. Get an in-depth explanation here: https://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/faq/#q212

The third image is the same graph, but on IPCC’s 1850-1900 temperature baseline. In this case, April 2023 was the 4th-hottest April globally since 1880, measuring at 1.23°C (2.21°F). The six hottest Aprils on this baseline have occurred since 2016: https://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/

NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration uses its baseline on U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) The agency started tracking temps in 1980, and the most recent 30-year period at that time was 1951-1980. IPCC uses its baseline to represent preindustrial temperature. It's the earliest period of near-global observations of surface temp.
